ServiceNow, a leader in enterprise software as a service, is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation through exceptional digital experiences. Their "Story Studio" team – with Simon Grice as the Sr. Director of Innovation and Johnny Rios as the Sr. Lead Designer - is critical in this mission, responsible for crafting compelling executive content within their briefing centers. Faced with the challenge of transforming boardroom-based presentations and technology demos into captivating visual narratives, ServiceNow turned to Intuiface to revolutionize its approach.
Traditional presentation tools like PowerPoint proved to be lackluster and uninspiring for high-level executive meetings. ServiceNow needed a dynamic solution that could support immersive visual storytelling and seamlessly pivot content to address diverse market needs.
The goal was to develop a digitally based environment that effectively engages and captivates executives without relying on costly, one-off physical installations, which often restrict the variety of stories that can be shared. They needed a versatile digital platform capable of handling various content types within a unified framework to achieve this. This platform had to seamlessly transport users between diverse settings, such as retail and manufacturing environments or a coffee shop and a hospital, to create truly immersive experiences.
Previous solutions, such as in-house software developed by external agencies, were inflexible and required extensive turnaround times for updates. ServiceNow required a more adaptable and user-friendly platform to meet their evolving needs swiftly.
ServiceNow's Story Studio team chose Intuiface for its unparalleled ability to enable immersive visual storytelling. As a no-code tool, Intuiface simplifies the creation of complex and engaging interactive digital content, making it highly attractive to teams like Story Studio, who can focus on creativity and innovation without worrying about technical constraints. This combination of ease of use and the ability to produce professional-quality visuals makes Intuiface an invaluable asset for those looking to captivate their audience with compelling narratives.
Led by Johnny Rios, the Intuiface-based implementation featured an interactive 16:9 experience showcased across a 3x3 video wall, complemented by a single side-wall display. The video wall accommodates multiple uses, including the display of compelling videos and enabling interactive deep dives into ServiceNow's portfolio options and strategic priorities. The side displays provide supplemental information and permits presenters to control the content on the video wall.
Chairs are arranged in front of the video wall to allow guests unrestricted access to the content, and cameras positioned around the room facilitate remote communication with other briefing centers and interested parties. Due to the arrangement of chairs and screens, imagery can be wrapped around an attendee, giving a sense of immersion.
ServiceNow trained their executive speakers, known as Innovation Officers, to guide guests through sessions centered on the Intuiface-based content.
To complement this new briefing center deployment, ServiceNow created a mobile app integrated with the Intuiface Shared and Deploy API. This integration enables Innovation Officers to dynamically select and deploy the appropriate content for each room, ensuring flexibility and real-time adaptability during presentations.
The first deployment occurred in Santa Clara, which contains multiple rooms of various sizes, each equipped with the same video wall/side wall setup.
Following a global roll-out, ServiceNow briefing centers in Singapore, New York City, and Hyderabad also feature the same Intuiface-based interactive content.
Intuiface enabled ServiceNow to transition from conventional presentations to immersive, engaging digital experiences. This transformation has significantly elevated their visual storytelling efforts' design quality and effectiveness.
The new setup has proven to be a "solution consultant's dream," acting as a powerful conversation tool that puts technology front and center while addressing monotonous PowerPoint presentations. The sessions now captivate executives, fostering deeper engagement and interaction.
Intuiface's ease of use and flexibility have streamlined the content creation and deployment process. ServiceNow can now make swift updates and iterations, enhancing its responsiveness to changing needs.
ServiceNow's adoption of Intuiface by their Story Studio team has set a new standard for executive presentations. ServiceNow has significantly enhanced visitor engagement and operational efficiency by leveraging advanced visual storytelling techniques and ensuring global consistency. This strategic partnership positions ServiceNow as a thought leader in innovative digital experiences and provides actionable insights and solutions for engaging high-level executives effectively.
